Heavy rains – Holiday declared for DK schools and PU colleges on Oct 26

Mangaluru, Oct 25: As the heavy rains continued in the coastal region, the deputy commissioner (DC) of Dakshina Kannada district declared holiday for schools and PU colleges on Saturday, October 26. 

October 25 was also a holiday for the schools in Dakshina Kannada district due to rains. 

The metrological department had predicted heavy rains on October 25 and 26. 

Udupi district DC has also announced holiday for Saturday, October 26 earlier. 

Reports from various parts of Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts said that there are heavy rains in the region.
