Bhatkal: Mohammed Affan murder – One arrested in Mangaluru

Bhatkal, Oct 26: One more person was arrested in Mangaluru relating to the murder of Mohammed Affan in Bhatkal. 

Mohammed Affan (26), son of Mohammed Ali Jabali from Puravarga, was murdered in a hotel on Saturday, October 19. 

Musharaf is the person arrested. 

The arrest was made on late Friday night and the accused will be produced in court on Saturday. 

Number of arrested persons has gone up to 3 now. 

A person named Siraj was arrested on Thursday from Bantwal. 

Six persons including Iqbal from Puravarga are the suspects. After the arrest of Siraj, more clarity has come to the case. 

Three more suspects will be arrested soon, said some sources. 

The suspects are believed to be hiding in Mangaluru. 

Some Bhatkal police personnel are stationed in Mangaluru to crack the case.
