Hubballi blast: Railway station master and RPF ASI suspended – Minister Angadi

Hubballi, Oct 27: Suresh Angadi, union minister of state for railways has informed that the station master of Hubballi railway station and the Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of Railway Protection Force (RPF) have been suspended with regards to the case of blast that occurred at the Hubballi railway station due to a suspicious object. 

The minister also said that the security at the railway station will be tightened. Suresh Angadi visited the Hubballi railway station on Saturday, October 26 and spoke to the media persons after the inspection of the site of blast.

At the same time, state home minister Basavaraj Bommai said that clear cut information regarding the blast will be available after receiving the report from forensic laboratory.
