Mangaluru, Oct 27:  Mangaluru South deanery's annual youth convention 'Yuva Sammelana 2019’ was inaugurated at Fr Muller Homeopathic Medical College auditorium, Deralakatte on Sunday, October 27. 

Vicar General of Mangaluru diocese, Fr Maxim Noronha, inaugurated the convention.  Fr J B Saldanha, Dean, Mangaluru South deanery presided over the inaugural event. Walter Nandalike, Founder, Daijiworld Media Group, was the chief guest. Nicky Shimon Pinto, Participant Dance India 3 reality show, Fr Roshan Crasta, administrator Fr Muller Homeopathic Medical College, Lancy Rodrigues, Secretary, Varado Pastoral Parishad, Suraj Noronha, President YCS, Central Council, Mangaluru, religious superiors of deanery graced the event as chief guests. 









In his inaugural speech Walter Nandalike said, “Today youths have become the decision-makers. Because of their education, knowledge and habit of adventure, they have turned important persons in every sector. But somewhere they are not utilizing the opportunity. They should make proper use of Gadgets and technology. Hardworking people always get rewards. He called youth to accept the criticism in the right spirit, not succumbs to any kind of pressure at any time. Every problem has a solution. "Do not get scared when you commit a mistake, because a mistake will teach you a lesson. Accept the mistake, learn from it, but do not repeat the mistake. As long as you don't do any criminal mistake it is fine." 

In his presidential speech, Fr J B Saldanha said, “I salute the office bearers of CYM, Mangaluru South deanery. They succeeded in bringing a large number of youths of deanery under a single roof. The mentality of the gathering shows how our youths are united. This is the golden opportunity to know each other and share their views.” 

Earlier the inauguration the procession was held through the main street of Deralakatte.

    Senior instead of making youth to listen your thoughts, must listen to the youth and make them present their thoughts. It is always in the minds illiterate make them to listen. We can't say it is wrong because of development of education and technology
