Mangaluru CP Harsha's Diwali wishes in Tulu win hearts of people

Mangaluru, Oct 28: Mangaluru city police commissioner Dr Harsha, who is a net-savvy and never hesitates to give attention to the complaints posted by social media accounts, has wished citizens of Mangaluru a happy Diwali in a pure Tulunadu style and won the hearts of Tuluvas.

He took to social media platform Twitter to convey his wishes in Tulu.

"Every year I celebrate festival of light with my family. But this time, assuming Kudla (Mangaluru) is my home, Mangalureans are my family. I am celebrating festival here. May this Diwali bring the light in your life, a very happy Diwali to all Mangaluru citizens.”


Dr Harsha IPS is a Kannadiga with roots in rich cultural fort city of Chitradurga. A doctor by learning and police officer by profession, he is a 2004 batch IPS officer who chose civil services immediately after graduating in medicine.

Dr Harsha assumed office on August 9, 2019.
