Fr Dominic Vas Takes Charge as Parish Priest of Mira Road Church

Mumbai, Aug 10: Carmelite priest Fr Dominic Vas assumed charge as parish priest of St Joseph’s Church, Mira Road (East), in the presence of Bishop Bosco Penha recently.


Fr Vas is a Mangalorean and served as professor of philosophy at Carmel Hill Monastery, Bikarnakatte, Mangalore, after his higher studies in Rome.  He has also served as chief of Pushp Ashram, Mysore, and Carmelite Provincial of Karnataka–Goa. 
 
Fr Ivan D’Souza and Fr John Pinto are the assistant parish priests at St Joseph’s Parish, Mira Road (East).
