Beltangady: Encounter death of three naxals in Kerala - ANF combing intensifies

Daijiworld Media Network - Beltangady (SP)

Beltangady, Oct 30: Following the killing of three naxals in a forest area within Kerala state, the Anti Naxal Force (ANF) has begun the combing operation in naxal-infested areas in the taluk.

Naxal-infested areas like Naravi, Kuthloor, Navara, Yelaneeru, Sulkery, Mogru, Shirlalu, Didupe, Kolli, Kariyala etc are in the ANF radar now to keep an eye on any naxal activity. The national park area in the taluk had naxal influence in the past, but with the elimination of their leader, Saketh Rajan, naxal presence had become feeble.

The encounter in Kerala of naxals at a time when naxal activities in Kerala and Karnataka was believed to have very much diminished, has given credence to the notion that the naxals are clandestinely building up their base.

On November 13, 2013, a group of five, which claimed themselves to be naxals, had asked a family in Kuthloor to open the door. When the family refused, it had burnt down a car parked there. After the friction between the naxals and the police in 2012 and 2013, no brush with naxals has happed in the taluk although ANF has been keeping an eye on any untoward development.

ONly when it goes out of hand. Only because of Naxals the brutal landlords have been brought to their knees, especially in Warrangal district of AP.
you will be shocked to hear that the landlords even made heavily pregnant women do physical work in paddy fields without any pay saying that they are bonded labour for generations
Only when the naxals gunned down two or three such landlords and made deal with them to given proper wages and benefits, they fell into line.

    Do not speak without knowledge

    Abdul
Don't spread false news. Do you know how these naxlites treat the ppl who oppose them? How they rape innocent young girls?
When you say when 2or 3 landlords are gunned down others behaved properly same stands for naxlites too.

It's very interesting that , Naravi, Kuthloor- Molli, Kariyala is a long forest belt around Belthangadi taluk. This area was occupied by malekudiya, a ST catagery. Today, lots of Malayalis purchased almost entire land for damn cheap rate.
It's very unfortunate, these people who sold thier property to Karalytes go for labour work...!
There will be chance of naxalite infiltration here because of thier Kerala link.I think police could received that information.

Unemployment and denying self rights forces people to become Naxalites

    Oh, that's your take!
Unemployment is a result of laziness or high headedness.
I have never taken up a public sector job in my life. I was denied opportunities in government sector just because of my caste. Unfit, undeserving candidates took the job in front of my eyes because of reservations.
    I didn't become a naxal!!!

All are not cowards like you. Some like Saket Rajan (hope you know that he was son of a rich person) stand up and fight.
Read the history of famous naxals, they are all well-educated and stood against the atrocities, mainly of the landlords, who were exploiting the labour class.
