Bengaluru, Nov 1: An emergency response centre which provides all services under a single roof was dedicated to the society on Thursday, October 31.

This centre is accessible on telephone No. 112.

All the emergency services, police helpline (100), fire brigade (101) and ambulance (108) would be available at a single point.

This centre has been developed under the ambitious 'one country - single emergency number' concept of the central government. All over the state, 183 emergency response vehicles would be functioning under this concept, and in the coming days, the number of vehicles is proposed to be increased to over 500.
