Very sorry to hear this... As Mr. Ganesh mentioned, Prevention is better than cure. Everyone should get trained themselves to face such accidents.

Why do firemen blame the building owners ? The fact remains that they are illequipped to fight high rise building fires. India is now comming with more high rise buildings  but we are not equipped with emergency situations. The government must immediately upgrade our fire department so they have the training and resources to fight high rise emergencies.

Kudos to the firefighters who saved people and doused the flames. This incident throws up a lot of questions to be answered. 1. Wasnt there a firefighting system installed in this building? If no, then how did the fire department approve and clear the building? 2. How did the authorities allow the 4th floor of a commercial building to be used as a store/warehouse. The building byelaws dont allow this. 3. Is the fire department equipped(both men and eqipment) to fight fire in high rises which are so many in the city

Very sad.  In future may be more fires like this.  Prevention is better than cure.first of all our fire fighters should get more advanced training, equipment. In  video we can see one officer finding difficulty in wearing breathing apparatus and fire hoses have lot of holes may be of (oabirayana kalada )which is not acceptable.it may burst causing injuries.
