Mangaluru: Much-awaited Tulu film ‘Jabardasth Shankara’ to hit screens on Nov 8

Mangaluru, Nov 5: Tulu film ‘Jabardasth Shankara’ directed by well-known actor-director Devadas Kapikad, is all set to release on November 8, informed director Devdas Kapikad.

Addressing media here on Tuesday November 5, he said, "The film is presented by Jalanidhi Productions and Bolli Movies and produced by Anil Kumar and Lokesh Kotian. The movie will be releasing at Big Cinemas, PVR, Cinepolis, Ashirvad in Udupi, INOX, Big Cinemas in Manipal, Natraj in Surathkal, Aruna in Puttur, and Santhosh in Sullia. The film will also release in Mumbai, Dubai, Oman, Qatar, Bengaluru, Mysuru, Goa, Hubbali, Shivamogga, Theerthahalli, Madikeri and Delhi. The film is an entertainment package. We wanted fighting sequences to come different and hence took 14 days to shoot the same.”

The rituals, traditions, Janapada and customs of Tulunadu can be seen in the film. Arjun Kapikad will play the role of Shankara. Nishmitha and Neetu play the female lead.

The director has provided story, script and dialogues for the film. Manikanth Kadri has composed music. Siddu is in-charge of photography. Stunts are by Mass Maada.

It is said that the team has held discussions regarding the sale of dubbing rights to Hindi, Tamil and Telugu film industries.

“Multilingual actor Kiccha Sudeep had also tweeted about the teaser of‘Jabardasth Shankara’,” informed Devdas Kapikad.
