Mumbai, Aug 17: The temple priest Hari Bhat offered puja to the idol of Lord Krishna on the occasion of Sri Krishnastami, at Gokul Mandir, Sion, here, recently.  The idol of Lord Krishna was seated in the golden cradle and puja was offered.



The grand procession carrying the idol of Lord Krishna placed in a palanquin,  was taken through the main streets, here, led by Kaup traditional Tulunadu folk dancers, shepherd dance and others, to replicate the renowned Udupi Vittla Pindi on this occasion. 

BSKB Association president Dr Suresh S Rao, honorary secretary A P K Pothi, Gopalakrishna Public Trust secretary and trustee Dr P G Rao, puja committee president A S Rao, secretary J K Bhat, R L Bhat, IITC directors Sandesh Urval, Neha S Urval, Sanjeev Poojary Tonse, Narayan Nandalike and others were present on the occasion.
