Bengaluru, Nov 18: Investors who are worried about the prospects of their hard earned money deposited with IMA going down the drain tried to hold a protest meeting in front of IMA office at commercial street here all of a sudden on Sunday, November 17 evening. The situation threatened to go out of hand but the police who reached the venue at this time brought the situation under control.

Over 200 people had gathered opposite IMA office at 4 pm on Sunday. The police who got information, made enquiries and learnt that a meeting of investors had been planned there. Deputy commissioner of police S D Sharanappa, tried to convince them against holding the meeting. He told the people assembled there that election code of conduct is in force and as such, no meeting can be held without prior permission.

The investors were not convinced. They stood by their decision to hold the meeting. They engaged in arguments with the police. Many among the protesters were women.

It later transpired that some miscreants had spread rumours through WhatsApp messages that a meeting of IMA investors was to be held at Commercial Street on Sunday evening. Sharanappa said that the people were informed that protests and meetings cannot be held without prior permission, particularly so as code of conduct was in force.

The deputy commissioner of police asked the people to get any information they get from various sources about IMA confirmed through commercial street police. He promised to find out the miscreants who spread this false information and to punish them as per law.

IMA Kingpin, Mansoor Khan and his political buddies, have swallowed the investors, deposits.... They should all realise, that they are not going to get one single paisa !!!!! Ponzi scams, have been occurring for decades. Not a single investor till date has ever received any refund, despite investigations and numerous court cases.... They should forget about false hopes, given to them by netas, and just move forward in life !!!!!!!
