Muscat: 'Sahodara Sangama' Iftar Party held by IFF

Muscat, Aug 31: ‘India Fraternity Forum’ Muscat unit had organized the 'Iftar (fast breaking) Party' in 'Mazaya Hall' Rex Road Ruvi, Muscat on Friday 28th Aug 2009.
 
The event began with 'Dua' by Janab Badruddin Baqvi soon after the Friday Jumma Prayers. He gave a brief lecture in Malayalam language on the importance of Month of Ramadan.
 
Janab Mohammad Ismail explained the Importance of worshipping Allah (Ibadath) in Ramadan; and suggested Muslims that it is not the month of taking rest. It is the month of gaining for hereafter, he explained the audience with demos.

















Speaking after a short break for ‘Asr’ prayers  Janab Thoufeeq Ahmed Bajpe awakened the audience on dire situation of Indian Muslims back home. He spoke in Urdu language.

Later on Janab Nasirudin Yelamara president Popular front of India Kerala State also spoke on the current situation of Indian Muslims.
 
The programme was concluded with Dua immediately after breaking the fast followed by Magrib prayer.  Separate seating arrangements were made for Women.

Media corner was set up displaying different books in 3 Major South Indian languages Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada.
Around 2000 people belonging to different parts of India participated in the event.
