New Delhi, Sep 5: After two months of performing deadly stunts and struggling to survive in Malaysia's largest tropical rain forest, TV actress Mona Wasu was voted and crowned the 'Jungle Queen' Friday at the grand finale of Sony TV's "Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao" reality show.

"I am very thankful to the audience for recognising my fight and struggle throughout the show," Mona said after the results were announced.

The actress, who became a popular face after featuring in shows like "Mili" and "Radhaa Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi", walked the red carpet, sat on a grand red throne and was crowned the 'Jungle Queen' by first runner-up, actor Chetan Hansraj.

Pop singer Anaid bagged the second runner-up position.

Mona walked away with a cash prize of Rs.1 crore. She intends to invest it in a house in Mumbai.

Before the results were announced, Mona said she was confident of making it to the finals since the beginning of the show and that this has been the "hardest and most exciting phase of her life".

"Iss Jungle Se..." had around 15 celebrity participants stayed together in unusual circumstances, swapping their lives of luxury for the tough terrain of the Taman Negara tropical rain forest in Malaysia. They ate mice, tarantulas and faced many creepy crawlies as part of some dangerous tasks on the show.

The show was an adaptation of ITV Global Entertainment's "I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!".
