Goa Football Association Observes Asian Referee's Day

The Goa Football Association observed the Asian Referee's Day by organizing a friendly tie between the qualified GFA North Goa Referee's and the South Goa Referee's at the Dhuler grounds in Mapusa. The match ended up in a tight draw. Later all the Referee's were presented with the Fair Play cards.



The Goa Private Bus Owners Association resorted to a flash strike at the Kadamba Transport Corporation's bus stand in Panaji by stopping the City buses and blocking the prime exit way during the afternoon hours. The strike was called to protest against the non renewal of permits of 150 buses. The association also protested against the harrasment by the RTO in the state. Hundreds of passengers were stranded during the three hours protest.
