Panaji: Casino Employees Stage Protest in the Capital

Panaji, Sep 12: Around 2000 odd employees of the various off shore and land casinos running across the state staged a silent protest march in Panaji on Friday, September 11.



All the Casinos in the state remained closed for a day as a sign of protest. The employees are demanding reduction in the casino entry fee which has been hiked by the state government from Rs 200 to Rs 2000.

Later a delegation comprising of heads of the various Casinos submitted a memorandum of their grievances and suggestions to the Chief Minister.
