Mangalore: Little sisters of poor celebrate Mini Fete Pics: Dayanand Kukkaje Daijiworld Media Network- Mangalore (RS) Mangalore, Sep 14: Little sisters of poor- the home for aged at Bajjodi celebrated Mini fete with cultural functions and exhibition of hand made items prepared by its inmates, on Sunday, September 13. The Mini Fete-2009 was inaugurated by Bishop of Bellary, Fr Henry D Souza. Dr Deepak Pinto was the chief guest.
The fete celebrated with full day events such as games and cultural programmes like dances. The various food items were exhibited and served with intension of noble cause. Benefactors of the home participated in the whole day programme. The items including dress and the hand made items were exhibited at the home. Sister Catherina, said the function was organized for the noble cause to help the poor home. Benefactors of the home participated in this and also the inmates of the home enjoyed this festival. Sr Catherina distributed the prizes for winners in games events in the evening at the end of the fete.
Very worthy cause for the sake of the poor people, elderly sick people, May God bless them all, An act of charity. The the little sisters of the poor may have lots of blessings from God the Almighty
