Devadiga Elected World Tulu Convention Vice-president

Mumbai, Sep 21:
Dharmapal U Devadiga, veteran social worker, entrepreneur, former president of metro’s Devadiga Sangh and also vice-president of Jayasrikrishna Parisara Premi Samiti (NGO), was elected on Monday September 21, as vice president for the convening committee of World Tulu Convention. 



The convention will be held under the leadership and direction of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala dharmadikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade at Ujire near Dharmasthala of Beltangady taluk in Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka from Thursday December 10 to Sunday December 13. 
 
The coastal district of Tulunadu in the undivided Dakshina Kannada has indeed contributed significantly for the national cultural sphere.  Tulu litterateurs, scholars, artistes, eminent educationists and also entrepreneurs are likely to attend the four-day convention.
