The annual general body meeting of metro-based Bhandary Seva Samiti was held at Hotel Guruprasad, Chembur, here on Sunday September 20.  The meeting was presided over by samiti president Balakrishna P Bhandary.
 


Speaking on the occasion, Balakrishna Bhandary hoped that the dream of building Bhandary Bhavan in the metro would be realized with the generous support of community, both Tulu and Kannadiga associations. “It’s not an easy task to lead any association and work within the framework of set rules and objectives.  It requires honesty, commitment and total dedication,” said Balakrishna.
 
Balakrishna also acknowledged the community elders and also youth members of association, for their significant work in generating goodwill and prestige for the association since the past 55 years.
 
Samiti vice-president Padmanabha Bhandary, honorary chief secretary lawyer R M Bhandary Thane, honorary treasurer B Venkatesh Bhandary, funds raising committee executive president Shivaram Bhandary, vice-president Balakrishna Puttur (Pune), advisory committee president lawyer Sundar G Bhandary and women wing president Rukmini Bhandary among others were present.
