Mangaluru: Unique way to wish friend on 'first night' turns viral

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Jan 9: Social media is often agog with strange things. No one expected Kumaraswamy's dramatic dialogue, 'Nikhil Yellidiyappa' or exclamation from a person in Siddaramaiah's audiences, 'Howdu Huliya' to become viral. Social websites of late have earned the potential to catapult people to instant fame for weird things.

A banner supposedly put up by the friends of a groom on his first night has been catching the attention of the social media users now. The banner of course is unique because it has projected the first night as a war and the friends of the groom, who have created the banner, have wished that their friend will come out successful after the initial bout of struggle and fight.

In the banner which is addressed to their 'innocent and hedonist' friend, Vernon D'Souza, Bajjodi, Mangaluru, the friends say that the first night show after marriage would be enacted at 'Sopan' Bajjodi house on the night of January 4 from 12 midnight till next morning or as long as he can physically manage. "Our friend, tide over initial struggles and come out a winner. Well-wishers for your first night, Friends from this and that side of Pumpwell Flyover. All the best for your first game," the banner, which is in Kannada, reads.

People do play pranks like bursting of crackers outside the room of the newlyweds or placing demand for money or party before allowing the groom to enter room at night. The banner created by some crazy friends with good imagination has now attracted the attention of social media and its troll pages.

With so many things going on in india , rapes on women , with divorce cases are increasing these banners shows so much immaturity that too from educated ?? Friends of the groom. The words used on this banner are absurd and should be punished ro for creating nuisance . I'm wondering where our society is going towards. There should be a limit for enjoyment .

If youngsters or anyone who dont respect marriage how would you respect the woman ?? Its not only a war or game but absolutely insult on women's identity and shows so much diarect . It's really a shameful act done by grooms friends

Marriage is not a challenge between two people .
Marriage is not a game between two people.
Marriage is not a war between two people.
Marriage is Sacred bond between two people a man and a woman. And there are no winners or losers between them two.
And definitely this is not an unique way to wish a friend on his first wedding night. Because if it is so you are doing a mockery of marriage.
As Mr. Jossey rightly said please behave with responsibility.

This is just insulting to the guy, please do not do such bad things which may ruin the sacred marriage. This might have been done by friends, but in reality they are just making fun of the guy to portray him in bad light.

this is not in a good taste since it displayed at public place. there should be some limit & we should not cross that.

what is the difference between A grade adult film & content in this banner.

if any school going children ask their parents about the meaning of this banner what they reply? so whatever you want to do that should be within your group of like minded people. it should not harass public.
