Panaji, Sep 28: The much awaited festival of Dussehra was celebrated acroos the state of Goa with great enthusiasm and spiritual fervor.

The festival was celebrated by every Goan hindu household along with Bengali communities and others.


 

People performed puja early in the morning followed by the Sindoor utsav at all the major Durga Puja pandals across the state.

Dussehra symbolizes the victory of good over the evil.

The Governor of Goa, Dr S S Sidhu has extended warm greetings to the people of Goa on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra.

    Human heart and mind longs for victory of good over evil. Dussehra is a very meaningful festival and calls for mass celebrations. Happy Dussehra to all.
