NCP Candidate Sharad Rao Undertakes ‘Padayatra’ in Constituency

Mumbai, Oct 7:
Sharad Rao, a Kannadiga, metro’s labour union leader and second time contestant from the NCP for the legislative assembly constituency of Goregaon (West) ward number 1, was seen campaigning here on Tuesday October 6.
 


Rao is a native of Talapady–Kannur in Mangalore taluk of Dakshina Kannada district.  He has been a renowned labour union leader in the metro for the past four decades.  His wife Shantha Rao is a native of Hiriyadka, Udupi district.
 
Rao, accompanied by a large number of party activists, undertook a mega ‘padayatra’ in the neighbourhood of Goregaon to solicit votes.
