Mangalore, Oct 15: Four sub-inspectors of police, working hitherto within the city limits, have been promoted and transferred to new positions.
Kiran C, sub-inspector of Urwa police station, has been promoted as inspector and posted to Coasal Security Force. Mulky sub-inspector Sudarshan has been posted to the office of the inspector general of police here, after his promotion as inspector. Taranath of Barke station has been shifted to Uttara Kannada district special branch as inspector, while Saifulla of Ullal police station has been posted as the inspector of the district crime intelligence bureau, Karwar.
