Mangaluru, Feb 4: People who have information or those who had witnessed the protest organized within the limits of the city police commissionerate here on December 19, 2019, have been given final opportunity to record statements or appear as witnesses between 11 am and 1 pm on February 6.
The state government had ordered to conduct magisterial inquiry into the death of Nausheen and Jaleel Kudroli on account of firing during the disturbances. Udupi deputy commissioner was appointed as the presiding officer for holding the inquiry. People who have information or those who were eyewitnesses to the incident or have any evidences can record their statements or adduce evidences. They can appear at the assistant commissioner's court hall, mini Vidhana Soudha in the city for recording what they have to say in the matter.

Udupi district deputy commissioner G Jagadeesha, said that after the said date, no evidences or statements in this connection will be entertained from the members of the general public.
