Daijiworld Media Network - Kasargod (SP)
Kasargod, Feb 4: P M Muhattasim (40), who was popularly known as 'Tasleem' or 'Don Tasleem', and who was found murdered in a car that had been found abandoned at Bollayi Nagri in Sajjipa Mooda village in Bantwal taluk, was from Chembarika in Kasargod district.
The police said that he was accused of planning to murder certain Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leaders. Relating to this case, he had been arrested by the Delhi police with help from the personnel of Vidyanagar police station here on January 11, 2019.
Tasleem
It is said that in the past, he claimed that he was a worker of minorities’ cell of the BJP. He faces cases like possessing fake passport, illegal possession of arms etc. Karnataka police in the meanwhile have extended investigation about him to Kasargod.
Tasleem, when in Dubai, used to falsely identify himself as an officer of Research and Analysis Wing of India and used to engage in wrongdoings there. He also worked as an informer and provided secret information to Dubai police about the operations of a few individuals from Kasargod living in Dubai. On the basis of this information, some of these people were arrested and booked, it is gathered.
