London, Oct 21: Actor Matt Damon, who featured in the "Bourne" trilogy, now refuses such offers because he doesn't want to act in films with excessive violence.
The actor says he gets worried that the action sequences may affect people's real-life actions, reports imdb.com.
"I always look at the violence (in a script). I don't want it to be gratuitous because I do believe that has an effect on people's behaviour. I really do believe that and I have turned down movies because of that," said Damon.
