Those who had black money are now paying taxes on the amount of demonetized currency put in the banks.Recently many people have got notices from the IT dept.More people are filing IT returns. All these are good signs. Corruption will come down and crime will come down if black money is removed from circulation. In demonetzation 2.0 all currency above Rs 100 should be removed from circulation.People can pay higher amounts by cheque,DD RTGS etc. If the amount is not very large in multiples of Rs.100. Then black money will be difficult to hoard, transfer and hide.

Demonetization was initiated with a wide array of motives like stripping the Indian economy of its black money, push people to pay taxes for the unaccounted pile of cash, curb terrorism, promote the digital India movement and make India a cashless economy. Today the result infront of us. Govt properties are on sale. Economy down to the history record. Industries are getting windup day by day resulting worst unemployment crisis. Inflation rate skyrocketing. ... No black money recovered, terrorism and instability increasing day by day. The bill invited invited all problems.

Jossey Saldanha, Mumbai . Yeha it was a flop for black money hoarders, The Govt had provided enough time to deposit the demonetised notes that the individuals possessed. Why didn't these guys deposit??? For the simple reason, they could not justify where this money had come from or source of such income. That's the question to be asked, You cannot blame God and Modi for everything. Like RaGa said 'Dont look at the world from your position but look at the world from your position'

Why the other two ran away?
Possession of demonetized notes is not a crime. Because of time constraints, they could not exchange. What is the problem?
Mohammed should sue the police for harassment, defamation and illegal confinement!
