Yadagiri: ‘We have stopped ‘Operation Kamala’ but party doors open for all’ - MP Nalin Kumar Kateel

Daijiworld Media Network - Yadagiri (MS)

Yadagiri, Feb 20: Congress and JD(S) leaders have been accusing BJP that they have formed the government by doing 'Operation Kamala'. However, state BJP leaders were vehemently denying it. Now the BJP state president has given a contradictory statement in this regard and reportedly said, "We have stopped ‘Operation Kamala’ (Lotus) now. However, the doors of BJP are always open to everyone who wants to join our party." By this statement, Nalin Kumar has admitted that they have taken the help of Operation Kamala to bring down the previous coalition government and form the present one.

Nalin Kumar Kateel said the above while responding to a query that JD(S) leader G T Devegowda is going to join BJP.

Replying to a statement of former chief minister (CM) Siddaramaiah that the government of B S Yediyurappa is not the one people elected, Nalin said, "BJP has got more people support than Congress and JD(S)."

About the rumours of BJP MLA Umesh Katti meeting former CM H D Kumaraswamy, Nalin said, "These are just rumours. Our government will be safe and secure for the next three years in Karnataka."

In addition, Nalin Kumar Kateel also said, "We will take action against those who give anti-national statements. Earlier when Siddaramaiah was the CM of Karnataka, they had arrested several people on the accusation that he has been mocked on social media. Is it not the murder of democracy? We have taken legal action against those who have pelted stones, shown guns or said ‘Pakistan zindabad’. We have not arrested those who have read poems."

The public of Yadagiri is enraged over the fact that the police gave zero traffic to the convoy of Nalin Kumar Kateel, who had arrived for a party function in the city. Many people said that it has caused grievous inconvenience to them.
