Mangalore, Nov 16: After the row in the state government, now it is the turn of the Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF). G Somashekar Reddy, chairman of KMF does not want to quit his post while BJP state president D V Sadananda Gowda wants him to step down.
Reddy, speaking to media persons in the city, on Monday November 16, said, “I am not interested in any ministership, so I want to continue as chairman without giving up this post. The three months have passed but I want to continue in this post and there is no question of quitting”.
But Gowda told reporters that Reddy’s time was up and he will quit from the post or would be asked to do so.

He added that the dispute which plagued state politics, had delayed the taking over of the KMF chairman’s post and now it was time to deal with the matter.
Reddy was in the city to launch the jumbo packets of curds by Nandini.
When Reddy was elected to the post, it was reportedly said that it was a temporary arrangement and Gowda will take over eventually.
Reddy is the brother of ministers G Janardana Reddy and G Karunakara Reddy and had claimed during the time of his selection to the KMF chairmanship that their role was crucial in winning the KMF elections which helped the BJP gain highest seats.
