Mumbai, Mar 13: Every ice cream lover will remember this day, for on March 15 coastal Karnataka’s multi-state brand ice cream will scale up its product range and launch it in the financial capital of India - Mumbai with a bang. A mind-boggling range of seven gourmet varieties are designed to win the hearts of Mumbaikars in particular and that of millions of ice cream lovers all across the southern states. YO is the new super-premium brand from the production line of Hangyo that will see a grand launch in Mumbai.
As one of the top-selling brands in the entire south India, Hangyo is now poised to launch a scintillating range of premium ice creams in great varieties which will leave ice cream aficionados spellbound with the aroma and taste. The innovative ice cream makers are all set to launch YO, an associate brand that will be a premium gourmet series of ice creams under the catchline ‘made from milk and cream’.

YO will be available in seven different varieties initially. The installed capacity for research and development of Hangyo will pave for several more in the days to come. The seven varieties are Brownie Fudge, Choco-Hazelnut (a unique combination of premium chocolate and the crunchy Hazelnut- This combination is one among the firsts), Shahi Meva Malai (creamy and milky that its freshness can be tasted), Almond Rocks (nutty and crunchy), Rose Petals (highly aromatic and sprinkled with enchanting rose), Saffron Carnival (true strands of saffron), Caramel Crunch (soft ice cream with blasts of crunchy caramel). All these new varieties are rarely found. What makes them special is that their special process that Hangyo has infused into the production line the freshness is further sealed in special containers designed to be user-friendly. The YO range has been fortified by nutrients like Omega -3, 6 and 9 with 14 percent fat. So a little more indulgence is no big deal.
This premium gourmet series range is available only in 500 ml containers and would be priced at Rs 300. The series will be mainly marketed in all A-class retail outlets of Hangyo and in all modern trade outlets present in all the seven states of distribution to begin with.
