Bengaluru: Mosques instructed to create coronavirus awareness through loudspeakers

Bengaluru, Mar 30: It is learnt that the chief executive of Karnataka State Wakf Board has asked all the mosques in the state to spread coronavirus control instructions issued by the government four times every day by using loudspeakers.

The officer said that under the instructions of the government and directions of the Amir-e-Shariyat, managing committees of the mosques have been instructed to compulsorily convey the audio clip containing precautions to be taken with regard to coronavirus infection which is in three languages that have been provided along with the instructions.

The audio clip is in the form of modes in which coronavirus spreads, and precautions to be taken against is proliferation. The government has directed the mosques to convey the announcements at least four times every day, at 10 am 4 pm, 6 pm and 8 pm.
