Bengaluru: Actress’ car meets accident amid coronavirus lockdown

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Apr 4: People have been strictly confining themselves within the four walls of their homes to escape from coronavirus and police action on account of lockdown. For celebrities however, this is the time for them to indulge in fun and frolic as they have enough leisure time as all activities except a few have come to a standstill and the streets are deserted.

One such celebrity happens to be Sandalwood actor Sharmiela Mandre. During late night hours, she went along with her friend on a jolly ride. She was accompanied by friend Lokesh. The Jaguar car, driven by Sharmiela at a fast pace hit the pillar below the flyover at Vasanth Nagar. As both Sharmiela and Lokesh were not wearing their seat belts then, the air bags did not get deployed, as per information.

Insurance of the car will not be applicable. Since lock down was enforced the driving activities are termed illegal unless it was meant for something urgent already listed.

Who told you? When premium is paid, insurance company will have to give claim. Moreover she is also human, she will be in need of vegetables and medicine. Going out for that especially medicine at any time is not a offence.

They will not get insurance as it was lockdown & clearly mentioned as zero tolerance..
Yes now they can make a reason because she is a celebrity. Statement can change any how depends how high the influence is.
    Some is going to benefit..

Why she has to go at night to buy vegetables, She has enough time during the day time also taking a friend along with her is nothing but a Jolly Ride, that too in a posh car Jaguar.Mostly celebreties and business people and big shots can afford this Jaguar car. Police need to find her and put her behind bars as per lockdown period law and order.

Nothing is going to happen to celebrities and political leaders. They'll be given full security and taken good care.
For common public police will thrash with lathies and even with their shoes.
