Annual Day at Kannada Bhavan Education Society Celebrated

Mumbai, Dec 8: The fourth annual day celebrations of Kannada Bhavan Education Society (KBES), KBES High School and KBES Primary School and distribution of scholarship programme, were held at Dr Vishweshwarayya memorial auditorium of Karnataka Sangh, here recently.
 


KBES president A B Shetty presided. LIC divisional vice-president R K Shetty MDRT and Anitha R Shetty couple distributed the prizes to the winners of various competitions and also scholarships to talented students on the occasion.
 
KBES honorary chief secretary Bekal A Amin, honorary treasurer P M Poojary and principal Suresh S Suvarna were present on the dais.

    1971- first batch, the first batch who got 100% result in Poona Board. Who can forget it. Great Guru's Ail Sir, Acharya Prahlad sharma Nagarahalli Sir, Sadananda Shetty Sir, Indira Teacher, Sarla Teacher, Wow! what a days Lovely colliegues - Vijaya Bangera, Jayaprakash, Premnath Kotian, Dinesh Anchan, Satish Uchil, Sanjay Havnoor, Ramesh Shetty, Ratnmala shetty, Keshavi Bangera, Kastoori, Prabhavati, Sudha, Hema, Sarojini,
    KBSH's first school Magazine - VAANI. - How can I forget School Peon Uncle Naik. I reemebr lot of classmates and school mates. Still feel like going and sitting at the fourth floor , corner Bench, 100% I am confident, I will do it very soon.
    My love to ebery one of those golden days, and Namaskar to all present freinds and Dear All teachers, who kept the spirit of KBSH life.

    I am very proud to be a student of KBS HIGH SCHOOL,all teacher are my favorite teacher-Danywathi teacher,Lalit bhat,suluchan murthy,nayaksir,Kavishetty sir,Indrabut teacher,parrera tacher,siddhya matpathi sir,ramchittha teacher,nagarhalli sir and mahajan sir,nelly mendoz-I am completed Msc in chemistry -working in MNC pharma company as quality control utive so thanks for all teacher, you are all contributed in my study,therefore in whole life i will be very thankfull to you

    I am proud of my school(1977-1983),when i was joined school in 5th std.my class teacher was madam Philomina,how can we forgot our mahajan sir,hilda miss,and dashing Lalita Batt.and our dammak ladu marathi Usha miss.those are the days nevar come back.I salute all my teachers and my colleages.And also our great principal Sri.Ramnaryan ail.we always make mischiev with him.Thanx Satish Shetty

    Really nice to these pictures and comments from ex students . I was in 1982 afternoon SSC batch. Apart from above teachers I remember Nagarahalli Sir , Sadanand Shetty , Savita Naik , Lalita Datt (name doubtful , Algebra & Geometry Teacher), R.P.     mathais,Indira bhat,D'sousa,Mhajan sir,Matapati sir,Usha [marathi teacher}Amba teacher and my geogrphy teacher Mr.Ram Narayan Ail& my class friends jairaj puthran ,chandrakant poojary & naresh naik still in tuch with me but looking for surendra s. shetty.and the beautiful girls of those days in my class jayshree setty veena setty, nirmala shetty,lata shetty, gitanjali
    kotian,sarika shetty,janet, tresa,hemamalini.I love my school very much,that was a much better
    than the collage life.sill looking fr someschool friends.that was a fun to g to school by train from Vileparle to Churchgate in luggage compartment in morning time.best part is sports day & school day in
    rang bhavan.marin lines near metro talkies.ALL THE BEST TO KBES.

    I am the past student of Kannada Bhavan. I still remember my School Days. As it was long back i.e., in 1984, we did not had the facility of phones, mobiles & mails, so we do not have the contacts of our school friends. I miss all my class mates as well as our school teacher especially Lalita Bhat, Sujata Murthy, Mahajan Sir, Sadanand and many more.

    I am a student of Night Jr. College of this institution. All the teaching and non-teaching staff were dedicated to the cause of education.The then principal knew each and every student by their names. For working students this institution has helped to continue their education. However, I don't see any staff on the dais (except Mr. P.M. Poojary). I salute this great institution - Kannada Bhavan Education Scoeity!
