Mangalore: Beti Bachao - Rama Sene’s New Tool against Love Jihad

Mangalore Dec 23: Pramod Muthalik, chief of Sri Rama Sena said that the sene will hold a state-level campaign against ‘love jihad’, Beti Bachao to save girls of hindu community from conversion racket performed under the directions of some organizations in the state.
Speaking to media persons in the city on Wednesday December 23, Muthalik said that the campaign will be carried by the activist through out the state and involve students. The handbills, booklets and CDs based on statements of sufferers from the anti-social activity called as love jihad will be distributed as part of this campaign, he said.
We will reach all homes and create awareness against love jihad. We will call upon the parents to save their girl from conversion racket; he said adding that colleges, high schools and hostels will be made aware of the concept of love jihad as well as the need to stand up against it.
There are 4,700 cases of missing girls in the state, wherein 3,000 girls have returned and nearly a 700 are involved in prostitution hesitant to return homes. There are no clues about the whereabouts of others. Hence it necessitates investigation, he said.
The campaign that began from December 20 will continue up to January 20, he said adding that this campaign is not against anybody. We are not against someone falling in love, but on the issue with whom one decides to fall in love, he stressed.
The Hindu organizations alone can create awareness against this anti-social activity, he said adding that there is proof for such a call being made by Popular Front of India to its activists.
