Mangaluru, Apr 25: People of the city and outskirts witnesses rains in the wee hours of Saturday, April 25.
Southern parts of Mangaluru, Ullal, Thokkottu, Pandith House, and Deralakatte, received heavy rains from 3.30 am. It also rained in other places of the city later in the morning.
The heavy shower brought the temperature down slightly.
It had begun drizzling in the night at many places. Lightning and thunder too was experienced at many places.
The nostalgic fragrance of the soil pervaded the air as rain accompanied with light breeze drenched the city.
