Los Angeles, Jan 5 (DPA) A snippet from a previously unheard track featuring the late King of Pop Michael Jackson collaborating with rocker Lenny Kravitz has leaked onto the Internet.
In a video statement, Kravitz Monday confirmed the authenticity of the recording but warned that it had not been prepared for release.
"The version that's out is not mixed, but it is the track," Kravitz said in the video. "The song was recorded by Michael and myself. I produced it for him, I wrote the song, and I played all the instruments on the track.
"It was one of the most amazing musical experiences that I've ever had. It was done by two people who had respect for each other and who loved music."
According to Rolling Stone magazine, "Another Day" is a remake of Kravitz's song "Storm", which appeared on his 2004 album Baptism. Celebrity website TMZ.com said that Jackson's estate and Sony Records were trying to get the clip taken down.
