Mumbai, Jan 28: MDRT Day will be celebrated on Sunday February 14. MDRT’s (USA) first vice-president Julian H Good J will inaugurate the event at Hotel Renaissance, Powai here.

Dignitaries from various insurance companies will attend the event. The event is being organized with the view to spread awareness and increase India’s participation in the MDRT convention held in US, to uplift the professionalism among the agents/advisors and also with a view to bring the MDRT chapter to India.
R K Shetty, MDRT divisional vice-president, informed that India has notched up third place in membership among the 80 countries and territories which participate in MDRT. “In the past five years, India’s membership in MDRT has grown by more than 500 percent. The trend is expected to continue in times to come as the insurance industry continues to grow at a fast pace in the country”, he added. He further informed that MDRT Day Celebrations will be held in Delhi, Bangalore and Kolkata on February 8, 10 and 11, respectively.
Rohit Dhanani, area chairman, zone number 4, MDRT, informed that on Sunday, a one-day seminar for insurance and financial professionals will be held. Insurance and financial professionals from all over the country will take part in the event. The main aim is to bring all the top professionals of this industry under one banner. A panel of eminent speakers will address the gathering.
