Karnataka Sangha Organizes Twelfth Goregaon Vicharabharati Sammelan

Mumbai, Feb 8:
The twelfth Goregaon Vicharabharati Sammelan was held at Durga Devi Saraf Trust auditorium, Malad (West) here on Sunday February 7. It has been organized annually by metro based Karnataka Sangha.
 
Entrepreneur Ramesh K Shetty inaugurated the sammelan on the topic ‘Kannada Sollugalalli Nelamukhi Nelegalu.’ Renowned poet and critic professor S G Siddaramaiah and Karnataka Sangha president Ganesh Kumar K presided and also released the special edition of Mumbelaku on the occasion.
 

 

Professor S G Siddaramaiah delivered the introductory speech.
 
Karnataka Sangh president S M Chowta and honorary chief secretary Padmaja P Mannoor were present on the dais.
 
Chandrashekar Talya, Rajappa Dalvai, Dr Banjigere Jayaprakash, Dr Tharini Shubadayini and K Y Narayanaswamy delivered talk on various topics.
 
Surendra Hegde was the chief guest of concluding ceremony held.
 
Seema Kulkarni and Vasanti Kotian sang the prayer song. Veda Suvarna, Sujatha Kotian and Mohini Poojary, sang the welcome song scripted by Vidya Deshpande. G T Acharya compered the programme.
 
Karnataka Sangha president S M Shetty delivered the introductory address. 
 
Variety cultural programme too were held. Pratap N Kotian compered the programme.
