KCA-Nallsopara Fundraiser Features Tulu Comedy ‘Enkulu Matha Nirekare’

Mumbai, Feb 10:
Tulu comedy play ‘Enkulu Matha Nirekare’ was staged by metro-based Nirekare Kalavider at Nana Patil K M P D School auditorium located at Tulinje Road, Nallasopara (East), on Sunday February 7. 

The Tulu play was held in aid of the poor students’ fund and organized by the Konkani Catholic Association (KCA) Nallasopara. 
 

 

Polya Surendra Shetty, honorary chief secretary, Mira–Dahanu Bunts, was the chief guest.
 
Former Nallasopara municipal councilor Umesh Naik, St Francis De Sales (SFS) education institutions chief Sr Louisa, social activist Sadashiv Karkera, Nallasopara KCA advisor Fr Robert Fernandes, SFS parish priest Fr Lawrence Agnelo, as well as Suresh Shetty and Nagaraj Shetty of Mira–Dahanu Bunts Association, were present on the occasion.
 
Polya Surendra Shetty said that KCA Nallasopara is an association of Christians of both Mangalore and Goa which has been doing its bit in educating the poor and downtrodden and also helps their families meet medical expenses within its limits, regardless of caste, creed, and religion, in Nallasopara.  
 
KCA vice-president Gracy Pinto, honorary chief secretary Claude D’Silva, honorary treasurer Alwyn Francis D’Souza, committee members Patrick Fratus, Lilly Quadros, Enaz D’Souza, Mary Veigas, Violet Moraes, Richard D’Souza, Lavina D’Souza, Leena Pereira, Rohintan, Hilda D’Souza, Rudolph Fernandes, Leena Lobo, and Alexandria Selva Naik were present on the occasion.
 
KCA president Harry B Coutinho welcomed the gathering and honoured Manohar Nandalike, director, Tulu play ‘Enkulu Matha Nirekare’, lyricist Narayan Nandalike and lead artistes Prasanna Kuntady, Baba Prasad Kutyar and Uday Venoor.
