Driving on our national highways is extremely hazardous..... Many drivers are under the influence of substance, like alcohol or drugs !! My sincere request to all that they should avoid driving between sunset and sunrise !!!!

Goods tempo, lorries carrying mud, sand and construction materials always fly at rocket speed. Traffic police turns a blind eye.

Vehicles don't "lose control", drivers do.

If the vehicles are driven at high speed there is no escape during the impact. even surviving would have been like living dead condition seeing at the condition of the vehicle. The drivers feel like idiotic heroes when put behind wheels. Time to shame the over speeding drivers.

RIP to the young boy who had to lose his life.

normally heavy pole bases are covered with road divider covered with strong rubber edge, pole should be right away from road shoulders.

sad the boy came to earn and support his family.. main reason for this accident is over speed.. why on earth do people drive like this when they know that many accidents happen due to over speeding of vehicle....

this is not a overspeed case. I heard that he always drive his vehicle very slowly & this was told by those people who known him very well. i think due to technical or other reason this accident could have happened.

Whatever the reason is... if the vehicle was not overspeeding the impact would not be so severe.... even though there was technical reason, one can try driving slowly.....

Jhanavi mangalore, kindly dont jump to give your statement of driving fast.May be there was some technical fault .It looks like vehicle is old and God knows ,may be he got some heart attack? One should first see not only human failure but also technical side and health issue.did anyone later control the vehicle or post martum of driver?I dont say on Indias roads they drive safe.May their souls rest in peace.Heartfelt sympathy to their familys.sad to hear two lives are lost ,young men.If they were driving fast, should have collided with other vehicles right on road, instead it hit out of road .
