Mohandas Hejamady Elected President of Billavara Sangha Committee

Mumbai, Feb 14: Mohandas Hejamady, branch manager of Bharat Co-operative Bank, Andheri (East) branch was elected as the president of Mumbai Committee of Hejamady Billavara Sangha in the annual general body meeting held at Billavara Bhavan located at Santacruz (East), here recently.

The meeting was held under the chairmanship of young entrepreneur and social worker Naveenchandra S.

Harish Hejamady as honorary vice-secretary, Ashwajit Hejamady (honorary treasurer), Naveenchandra S, Divakar Amin and Jayaram Kuthyar as vice-presidents, Anantharam Sanil and Balakrishna Amin as joint secretaries and Ravi S Kotian and Suresh S Salian as treasurers were elected at the meet.

Vasudev R Kotian, H Rama Poojary, Yogish Hejamady, K M Poojary, Lohith Bangera, Vasant Salian, Krishna G Salian, Tharanath S Suvarna, Tilak Suvarna, Vishwanath Suvarna, Janardhan Amin, Bhoja Kotian, Suresh Anchan, Naveen G Salian and Dinesh Sanil among others were elected as the committee members.

The Mumbai committee of Hejamady Billavara Sangha was formed in order to efficiently manage the recently inaugurated Jaya C Suvarna auditorium and Jalaja Sooru B Poojary auditorium at Hejamady in Udupi taluk. Both the auditoriums was set up at Hejamady by metro-based Billavara Sangha led by community leader Bharat Co-operative Bank deputy chairman and Billavara Sangha president Vasudev R Kotian. The committee also intends to strengthen the native committee, thus strengthening the organization.
