Mumbai, Feb 15:
The eighth annual day celebrations of Goregaon committee of Billavar Association was held at Kodical Damodar Naik memorial auditorium of Billava Bhavan, Santacruz (East), here on Sunday February 14 afternoon.
 
Jaya C Suvarna, president of Billavar Association, and All India Billava Federation, presided over the programme.
 


Paras D Gundeccha of Reality Developers was the chief guest.
 
An entrepreneur fron Nasik, Gangadhar K Amin, Pune based Yogi Holiday Resorts’ managing director, Sundar R Poojary, entrepreneur Ratnakar Shetty, Varadan Jewellers proprietor, Babubhai Rathod, Goregaon’s veteran hotellier and builder, Ravi Shetty, AHAAR former president, Chandrahas K Shetty, and others were present at the dais.
 
K K Poojary couple, Shambu U Suvarna and L R Kanchan were honoured on this same occasion.
 
Billavar Association vice president, Y Nagesh, honorary chief secretary, Jyoti K Suvarna, honorary chief treasurer Uday S Salian, womens’ wing president, Jayanti V Ullal, Goregaon local committee president Jagannath V Kotian, vice presidents, Ravi R Poojary and L R Anchan, honorary secretary, Sacchendra K Kotian, honorary treasurer, Pratap N Kotian and others were also present.
 
‘Naach Billava’ dance troupe presented a dance show, as part of cultural programmes.
 
Naveen Bengre, Surendra Kumar Marnad and Rajkumar S, performed mimicry as part of the entertainment programme.
