Mangalore: Karavali Warriors Record First Win in Property-MPL Tournament

Mangalore, Feb 18: On the fifth day of the Property-MPL tournament on Thursday February 18, Suratkal Sharks and Karavali Warriors won their respective matches held at NMPT Stadium in Panambur.
In the first match held in daylight between Suratkal Sharks and Bantwal Black Cats, the former won by 44 runs.
The Sharks elected to bat after winning the toss and scored 154 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. The Bantwal Black Cats lost all their wickets in 18.2 overs for a score of only 110 runs.
In the match held at night, the Karavali Warriors recorded their first victory in the tournament.
The team set a target of 146 runs for Manipal Hurricanes who failed to reach this goal and at the end of the 20th over scored only 121 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.
