Brahmavar, Jul 5: A hotel owner had tested coronavirus-positive in Kota after which on Friday July 3 throat swabs were collected from his family members, hotel staff and nearby shop owners by Kota community health centre. On Sunday , the test results were out and 9 people are corona positive.

Following the development, Kota revenue officer Raju V A, Ganesh Pai, Kota gram panchayat PDO Suresh Bangera sealed the houses of the hotel owner, nearby shopkeeper, and of the hotel staff.

A person in Saligram Karkad has also been tested positive and his house has also been also sealed.

It is not clear who was infected first. After lockdown was lifted goods vehicle movement had increased, and as the hotel and other shops are close by it is assumed that the virus would have spread by goods also.
