Bengaluru, Jul 8: Karnataka minister for primary and secondary education, S Suresh Kumar, concurred with the view that the challenges of permitting online classes and reopening of school remain to be addressed by the government, which had recently successfully conducted SSLC examination in the midst of coronavirus challenge. He however, asserted that the government has not taken any decisions on these two issues. He expressed his frustration at the fact that the wrong message is being spread on these issues, even though he has said time and again that the government is yet to take a decision on these two issues.

"The high court has heard the case relating to holding online classes. We are awaiting the judgement. In the meanwhile, the government has not taken any decision on conducting online classes. At the same time, it has to be noted that the report of the experts committee is not in itself a decision of the government," he clarified.

He again drove home the information that the government has not taken any decision on reopening of schools in near future. "This issue is not under the consideration of the government. Even though I have repeated this clarification, why is malicious information being spread?" he wanted to know, taking to Facebook to express his indignation.
