Udupi: Pundalik Marathe Chosen as Konkani Sahitya Academy Member

Udupi, Mar 13: B Pundalik Marathe, who excels in the field of education, culture, literature and social work, has been appointed as the member of Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy.



He has already contributed a lot to the growth of Konkani literature. He was a active member of Vishwa Konkani Sammelan held at Mangalore in 1995. He was a member of Konkani text book compiling committee for tenth std from 2005-06.

Besides winning the Aryabhatta-2005, state award for the best teacher, Marathe has several other honours to his credit.

Currently he is serving as a teacher in St Josephs School, Belman.
