Mangaluru, Aug 20: Doctors of the district Wenlock Hospital here, who undertook the case of a speciality abled child who the doctors at a private hospital had treated as a hopeless case, evinced special interest, provided unique treatment to the child, and saw that child is freed of coronavirus infection.

Happy that their child is cured, parents of the child and other family members celebrated the occasion by cutting the cake inside the hospital premises.

A specially-abled child from Krishnapura was infected with coronavirus. The child was also suffering from pneumonia and as such, its health had turned very bad. Immediately the child was admitted into a hospital but it is learnt that the doctors there were disinclined to treat the child as they said that the chances of survival of the child were bleak.

Heartbroken, the family members got the child discharged from there and admitted it into the government Wenlock Hospital. A team of doctors led by Basit Ali prepared themselves for treating the child. The team faced tough challenges but it accepted all of them and began a complicated method of treating the child.

With the help of treatment fortified by humanitarian touch extended by the doctors and nurses, there was improvement in the health of the child. Now, after 15 days stay at the hospital, the child has been discharged. The family is ecstatic that the child has won the battle against corona. The family members joined the doctors of the hospital to celebrate the occasion by cutting the cake.

Congrats all Doctors and Medical staff of Wenlock hospital. General public of Mangalore should support government hospitals. Instead spending Lakhs of Rupees for private hospital treatment please donate some medical equipments to government hospitals. Also people's thinking that, government hospitals are only for poor, this mind set should go. Also govt. Should appoint good doctors, Clean rooms, toilets, and charge the reasonable fees.
