M V Kamath Releases 3rd Edition of More Adventures of a PR Man

Mumbai, Mar 23: Third edition of new book titled More Adventures of a PR Man, authored by S N Surkund was released during inaugural function of ABCI's 45th annual award function held at Hotel President here, recently. 
 
After launching the book, M V Kamath said, “It may be the first book of this kind to have third edition in a decade, which itself shows book’s popularity. This book is thoroughly enjoyable. The author has shared his experiences with readers and not just preached or given advices. He writes everything about life, with great feeling, he said.

Elaborating further, he said that author is the typical middle class Indian who is not ashamed of his middle class values.  The taste of pudding can only be relished by eating. Similarly, you can enjoy stories only after reading. The simple narration, minute visual description and end result of tricky situation, not only keep you glued to the pages, but also evoke frequent laughters, he added.
 
S N Surkund, former assistant general manager and public relarions officer of Union Bank, vice chairman of Joint Publicity Committee - Public Sector Banks and student of Board High School, Udupi, has covered over 60 chapters, right from his school days till he retired in 1994. There are a few chapters on real incidents that happened abroad, during his five visits from 1997 to 2007.
 
S N Surkund thanked ABCI for the platform extended for book launch and also expressed his gratitude to M V Kamath for encouragement provided when he approached him during the first edition of the book in 2001.
