Bantwal, Aug 23: Specially-gifted Kaushik, who was recognized throughout the state for writing SSLC examination with his toes has once again earned appreciation for a unique skill.
A video of Kaushik weaving leaves to make 'Kottige' (traditional delicacy of coastal region of Karnataka) using his toes has gone viral on social media.
Kaushik, a resident of Kanchikara Pete of the taluk had recently made waves by writing the SSLC examination by holding the pen between the fingers of his leg. State education minister Suresh Kumar had also lauded his effort. Kaushik cleared the SSLC examination in first class.
In addition to being studious, Kaushik is good in cultural, literature and sports activities. Now his video of weaving the leaves to make the traditional delicacy of Krishna Janmashtami and Chauthi has earned him admirers on social media.
Kaushik, who does not have hands right from his birth, has shown the world that there is nothing like will power. Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik has promised to sponsor his future education.
