Mangalore, Mar 28: The annual day, graduation day, diploma awarding and lamp lighting ceremony of Masood College of Nursing and Masood School of Nursing held at T V Ramana Pai hall here on Saturday March 27.

Chief guest of the programme, B A Yathi Kumara Swami Gowda, principal of Alva’s College of Nursing along with K S M Masood, former MLC honoured the graduates and students by presenting certificates.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof Yathi Kumara Swami said that the students’ academic achievements should continue when they step into a profession. The attitude to achieve help them render good service to society and society recognizes good deeds only, he added.


















































The nursing profession in itself is a service to the mankind, and professionals should treat their profession as service rather than a mere job, he said.

The second batch of B Sc Nursing were presented the graduation certificates and the third batch of GNM were presented diploma certificates. The lamp lighting ceremony was for held for sixth batch of BSc (Nursing) and GNM courses.

Dr Richard James D'Souza, president of Masood Educational Trust welcomed the gathering. Prof Veena Gretta Tauro, principal of the institute, Dr Mohammad Arif  Masood, secretary of the trust and treasurer Abid Jalihal were also present.
